Looking for a summer gig? There are plenty of great part-time, full-time and seasonal positions available throughout Wheat Ridge. So many, in fact, that Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation is holding a Job and Volunteer Fair on Friday, March 15 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center.
Come meet the Parks & Rec staff, learn about the various opportunities, and apply for a job or volunteer position. Job are available at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center, Active Adult Center, Anderson Pool & Building, Park, Forestry and Open Space departments.
Other organizations attending with great volunteer opportunities include: Lutheran Medical Center, Localworks, Volunteers of America, 2020 Census.

Many positions are considered supplemental and are great for those already working who want to earn some extra cash or those who can spare a little time to get involved and give back to the community. Minimum hiring age is 15 for lifeguards, and 16 or 18 for other positions depending on requirements.
