You may not be able to go to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House to watch Colorado Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” this season, but that doesn’t mean you can’t see this fabulous production. Beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 26 (and several repeats thereafter), Rocky Mountain PBS will air a special holiday broadcast of Colorado Ballet’s “The Nutcracker.”
This is a filmed performance of the full production from a few year’s ago, complete with orchestra, costumes, scenery and special effects.
“The Nutcracker” will air on PBS on the following dates and times:
November 26 at 7 p.m.
November 27 at 3 p.m.
December 18 at 9 p.m.
December 19 at 1 a.m.
December 24 at 7 p.m.
December 25 at midnight
While Colorado Ballet is currently unable to present full-length productions in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, the organization remains committed to its mission of presenting exceptional classical ballet and contemporary dance through performances, training, education and community engagement.
