The city of Thornton’s Twist and Shout Summer Concerts offers FREE family-friendly concerts on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Music ranges from jazz to Salsa to Americana to Rock. The city’s enormous Carpenter Park Amphitheater has plenty of space and free parking. The series runs July 9 to August 27.
There are changes this year so take note. Safety-spaced seating for all concerts begins at 6:00 p.m. and is first come, first serve for pre-registered ticket holders. If you see a concert you like, act fast as tickets will be snapped up quickly.
Please bring a copy of your ticket or have it ready to display on your phone when checking in at the park to confirm your space.
Bring your own blanket or chair, and find an available square. Twist & Shout Concerts have small (two person) and large (four person) squares. If your group is larger, you will need to register for multiple squares.
Unregistered guests will be required to register when they arrive at the event. Seating is not guaranteed for unregistered guests.
Adjacent parking spaces will be available as marked on a first come, first serve basis to listen to the concert from your car. Children under 12 must attend the concert with an adult regardless of seating location.
All information is subject to change as is the maximum capacity allowed at these events based on current guidance from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment on the day of the concert.
Events are subject to change at any time. Please check ArtsThornton.com or call 720-977-5880 for updates.
