The people have spoken. Due to overwhelming demand, this is back. One of my favorite TV segments is CBS’ Steve Hartman’s “On The Road” series. Typically broadcast every Friday, correspondent Hartman travels across the country to bring us stories of friendship, hope, love and genuine acts of kindness in communities small and large. Now he wants to help families with kids who would rather be in school than stuck with their new teacher “Miss Mom” or “Mr. Dad”.
Every Monday at 7 a.m., he’ll be offering a new episode of “Kindness 101.” It will show some of his favorite “On the Road” stories and talk about the lessons within.
The class is interactive and appropriate for kids of all ages. However, we’re finding that adults are loving this series as well, so anyone can join in.
Each session will last 30 minutes. You can “tune in” here. If you don’t catch it live (it’s a bit early here in Colorado), the episode can be played at any time.
And grown-ups who may need a bit of a boost can watch, too. A little kindness goes a long way.
