The partying continues as RTD continues to open new light rail stations. This time RidgeGate hosts a family-friendly street party on Saturday, May 18 to celebrate the official opening of the highly anticipated Southeast Rail Line Extension (SERE) with service to three new light rail stations including Sky Ridge Station, Lone Tree City Center and RidgeGate Parkway Station.
The “Station Sensation” street festival is a full day of activities and entertainment including dancers, music, art, carnival games, performances and food trucks. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests will have the chance to compete in a watermelon eating contest, face painting and climbing wall and watch live music, stilt walkers and magicians.

RTD’s Southeast Rail Extension brings three new light rail stations to RidgeGate with 2.3 more miles of track and 1,300 new parking spaces at the end-of-line RidgeGate Parkway station.
