Going to the movies might look different, after all of this chaos. Let’s hope it still involves sitting in a darkened theater — screaming, crying and laughing with strangers at the big screen. (It will probably just be with much fewer audience members, all a few seats apart.) In any case, watching a movie on your couch doesn’t quite offer the same experience.
And a big part of going to the movies is the popcorn and candy.
Sie FilmCenter is helping to improve the at-home movie experience by offering a Movie Snack Pack every Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
The pack is available outside the theater (2510 E. Colfax Ave.) and can be purchased by credit card only.
Yes, we know it may not be the best deal, but, in this case, it’s more about supporting an important part of Denver’s arts & culture scene.
For $25, get the following treats:
One (1) large popcorn
Two (2) classic movie candies
One (1) bottle of wine or six-pack of beer (selection varies)
You can also add….
Bagel Dog (take-n-bake) for $4
XL Popcorn for additional $5
Bulk Goods (16-oz), including Tuxedo Pretzels, Cinnamon Bears, Peanut Butter Pretzels or Trail Mix) for $8
