Truth be told, the Albertsons Quarter Sale post we publish takes an hour or so to write. And, recently, Safeway has joined the game with the same sale. (At this point, we wish they would just become one. If you haven’t noticed, their respective weekly ads are almost identical.) This week, both stores are offering a Quarter Sale, so it’s becoming more of an effort to compile a list. We notice many of the same items are on sale (as in previous sales) and some items overlap at both stores. And, interestingly, the price differs on the same item, depending on the store. (Note: This time around, the sale items appear to be identical at both stores.) In any case, you can find more than 50 items on sale at each store for 25¢, 50¢, 75¢ and $1.
