Iceland, a country that has become a hotbed for emerging music and innovative cuisine, brings a “taste” of its culture to Denver for a series of events this week as part of Taste of Iceland. The biggest and best is Reykjavik Calling, a FREE concert at 8:30 p.m. featuring top Icelandic artists and up-and-coming Denver musicians on Saturday, September 26, at Hi-Dive. The showcase celebrates emerging music and features performances and never-before-heard collaborations from Mr. Silla, My bubba, Martina and James of Land Lines, Natalie Tate and Anna Morsett of The Still Tide. Admission is FREE, and for those 21+ only with a limit to venue capacity (which means arrive early). Doors open at 8 p.m. 7 S. Broadway, Denver, 303-733-0230. Here’s a complete schedule of Taste of Iceland events.
