Now, we can’t do this for every reader, but we like to support local artists whenever we can. MHOTC reader Kyle Stonner is hosting an art show at Dry Dock North (15120 E. Hampden Ave. in Aurora) on Friday, September 2. The bar features many pieces from Stonner Woodworking, including his signature Colorado flags made with recycled wooden pallets. Even better, Kyle will be raffling off one of his art pieces. Each person who buys a beer will get one raffle ticket. (Of course, you must be 21 years or older to participate.) At 7:30 p.m., a winner will be drawn. (Must be present to win.) Check out Kyle’s amazing work here. (FYI – We met Kyle and his family at a grand opening more than two years ago and he’s been a good friend to MHOTC ever since. We always meet so many wonderful and loyal readers around town. We have even overheard “strangers” talking about their love for MHOTC. We always blush just a little bit.)
