Buntport Theater is remounting its award-winning play The Rembrandt Room for a limited run. The dark comedy will play for three weeks in Denver and then have a special engagement at the Longmont Museum and Culture Center for a weekend. This solo performance weaves together real events from the lives of legends such as Rembrandt and Catherine the Great with mythological tales of Zeus and Danae with the fictionalized story of a museum security guard.
Performances are on Thursdays through Saturdays February 15 to March 2 at 8 p.m., with tickets $15 to $18. There is a special Monday, February 25 performance at 8 p.m. Admission is “pay-what-you-can”. You do need to reserve your spot as there are only 85 seats available.
