Aurora’s Pacific Ocean Marketplace, nicknamed POM, is a cornucopia of Pacific Rim and Asian foodstuffs. Seafood is a specialty, and exotic produce abounds. Browsing unusual and intriguing items on the shelves, the fridges and the freezers is like taking a trip half-way around the world. When it comes to packaged items, some labels are in English but many aren’t, so helpful staff members will translate and explain.
This POM location celebrates its fifth on Saturday, December 7, noon to 3 p.m. with FREE food. drinks, prizes and what are described as “incredible sales.”
