New Grocery App Saves Colorado Shoppers Big Money

POSTED BY

uGrocery Home Screen 2015Need to find the best deals for your Thanksgiving meal? Look no further than uGrocery. This new app helps consumers find the best deals for their shopping lists while comparing grocery prices across major Colorado grocery stores such as Safeway, King Soopers, Target and Walmart. uGrocery is the only app that recommends the best store to shop, so you get the most savings based on your personal shopping list. The app is easy to use and currently available to iPhone users (Android users stay tuned for your version) in Denver and across the Front Range. The company estimates that users can save about $200 per month by strategically shopping sales and shopping the cheapest store based on your list. Download it here. Here’s how it works: You create a grocery list by scanning grocery and household product barcodes or by searching for specific items. Then uGrocery compares the prices in real time across major Colorado grocers and tells you the store with the best prices on your items, including an estimated total bill and how much you’ll save over other stores. Sure, there are other grocery apps out there, but this one is different. uGrocery tracks weekly prices and deals for your favorite products. It displays all advertised and unadvertised sales in our area in a simple, easy-to-view format. The best deals are highlighted in the app so you never miss a great sale on the products you buy. With uGrocery, you can search for deals by brands or categories to compare pricing. And, how about this “gee-whiz” feature – Your shopping list is remembered for quick list creation and check off each week. This post is sponsored by ikonomo.

I just downloaded the app on my iphone. It wanted me to sign in or create a password. I tried to create a password and it said my email was already in use. I have never signed up for this before just now. I’m wondering if they are needing to figure out some kinks?

It’s me again. OMG. this app is AWESOME! Just want the public to know how really wonderful this is. You can scan an item that you need and it will give you a list of stores with prices. You will see the store that has the lowest price. Just let your app do the walking!!! Thanks again!!

So, do I have to first download iTunes before this new app? How do you scan an item?? Will this only show up on my iPhone when I finally get UGROCERY downloaded or will it be on my computer as well?
