Mow Down Pollution is a worthwhile program that aims to rid lawns of old gas-powered lawn mowers and replace them with brand new electric models. Wallet-friendly pricing is available on two models of electric lawn mowers, and even deeper discounts are available for those who bring in old-gas powered lawn mowers. Two models are available, respectively for $100 and $150 with trade, $150 and $200 without trade (plus tax). It takes place on for Saturday, June 3 at the CHaRM facility in Boulder. To register, click here. All liquids must be drained before machines are brought in for recycling. Organizers remind people to make sure their vehicle can accommodate the new electric mower, which is supplied boxed and cannot be unboxed on-site.
