What’s it like to drive a big truck? Now the kiddos can find out at Transportation Exploration hosted by the Fisher Early Learning Center on Saturday, September 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Denver campus. Kids can get an up-close look and explore inside and out — crawling, honking and pulling all the levers encouraged — all sorts of vehicles including the Big Batmobile Colorado, a Library Book Bus, trash truck, ambulance, backhoe, cherry picker, Kubota tractor, ATV, snow plow, construction equipment, school bus, police car, Zamboni, moving van, tow truck, school bus, firetruck, US Postal Service truck, Denver Public Works Street Sweeper and more. Cost is $5 per child, ages one to 18. Cash only, please. Also on site will be a bounce castle, face painting and concessions for an extra fee. The event is in the parking lot east of University Blvd. and Buchtel Blvd. intersection.
