Keystone Resort’s inaugural Colorado Family Ski Month is a celebration of the winter activities. Beginning with FREE skiing and riding for kids 12 and younger on Thursday, December 1, the family-sized adventures continue with the grand opening of the Snow Fort, month-long signature family activities and the new Kidtopia Mountaintop Spectacular weekend. To launch it, all kids 12 and under ski FREE on December 1 (too bad that’s not a night-skiing date) with an adult season pass or lift ticket holder. Beyond that, kids ski FREE all season long when parents book just two nights or more of lodging with the resort.
From December 16 to 18, Keystone launches Kidtopia Mountaintop Spectacular, a weekend of on-mountain fun to showcase a variety of activities and Kidtopia programs, including nightly firework displays, a torchlight ski parade led by Keystone’s Ski & Ride School and a mountaintop celebration with FREE snow tubing, snowcat photo opportunities, live music, hot cocoa and fireside stories with Santa. Kidtopia animates the mountaintop with Bigfoot adventure walks and a ski patrol-dog meet and greet, plus a lighting ceremony of the world’s largest Snow Fort.
Santa Claus comes to Keystone beginning Saturday, November 26 and continuing on December 10, 17, 18, 19, 22 & 23. From photo opportunities, skiing, parades and a PJ Brunch, to the Mountaintop Spectacular, Santa Claus will be in resort. Locations of his appearances are available on the resort website.
