Tableside service at a McDonald’s? Even we had to pause and double-check we were reading the press release correctly. It’s true. The first and only McDonald’s restaurant to feature the all-new “Create Your Taste” experience in Colorado celebrates its grand opening on Saturday, August 29. “Create Your Taste” allows customers to completely personalize their burger or sandwich. You use a kiosk to choose your toppings from nearly two dozen options (from white cheddar to guacamole to BBQ sauce to Ciabatta roll) and then the “custom” item is delivered to your table by McDonald’s crew members. There will be a separate area to order drinks and desserts. The grand opening includes a magic show and appearance by Ronald McDonald from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and raffles all day with prizes, including three X-Boxes. Through the week, beginning at 11 a.m. enjoy food specials — $1 iced coffee, 59¢ hamburgers and 69¢ cheeseburgers. In addition, first responders and military personnel can bring their uniforms in for FREE dry cleaning at the new $1.99 Dry Cleaners (across the parking lot) between August 29 and September 12, and receive a coupon for a FREE Create Your Taste sandwich goood at this McDonald’s location. 4000 S.
