We love a good flea market. It’s the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon — taking in all of the sights, sounds and smells. However, this market is a bit more hip and cool. On Saturday & Sunday, September 12 & 13, the fall Denver Flea sets up shop at Sculpture Park (Champa & Speer) from noon to 7 p.m. It’s being sold as “a way to change how people think of a flea market by creating a unique and enjoyable retail experience where people can enjoy themselves in a fun and energetic atmosphere.” Sounds fun to us! Admission is FREE. Attendees can experience a hand-picked selection of more than 150 local artisans, designers and makers, along with vendors of vintage items, repurposed furniture and other curiosities. Food trucks are on hand, with plenty of live music to keep things moving. As an incentive, organizers will buy your first New Belgium craft beer — if you RSVP now.
