The Salute to Wild West, previously called the Salute to Seniors, has been moved from June to March. So this year, the date is Sunday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. when this annual event at the Colorado Convention Center’s Mile High Ballroom provides lots of FREE information on topics relevant for seniors, entertainment and fun.
The resource fair (closes at 2:30 p.m.) features 100+ vendors and the chance to talk with experts on aging. Topics include housing, home care, health-care services, medical and dental information, financial services, legal services, insurance and more.
On the light side, there are vintage pick-up trucks from the Forney Museum of Transportation, artifacts from the History Colorado Center, a Wild West costume contest (come in your best Wild West outfit), Wild West bingo, country singer Jimmy Mazz and his Glen Campbell tribute show and cowboy poet Fred G. Elis.
Admission is FREE. Reservations are suggested by clicking here or calling 866-294-3971.
