The number of Krispy Kreme locations in the Denver metro area is about to rise by one. (Get it? “Rise” as in “dough rises.” Okay, maybe not our best pun.) Right now, there are just two locations — Lone Tree and Thornton. (Does anyone remember the days, when they first opened in Denver? We recall long lines, especially at the drive-thru!) On Wednesday, June 15, Krispy Kreme opens its doors on the 16th Street Mall in Denver — 303 16th St. The sweet smell of doughnuts starts at 5 a.m. The first 100 guests receive FREE doughnuts for a year. (The first person in line will receive a punch card good for one FREE dozen Original Glazed doughnuts each week for a year. The next 99 people in line will receive a punch card for one FREE dozen Original Glazed doughnuts each month for one year.) Plus, the first 150 customers in line will receive a FREE commemorative t-shirt. The fun continues at 9 a.m., with music, food and fun. For details about the grand opening, click here.
Should be grabbing 100 homeless people and give it away to them!!!
