Hey, gardeners, grab your shovel and dig in on this offer. In celebration of the upcoming Earth Week, King Soopers is getting dirty! The grocery store is giving away FREE compost produced from its store waste. Twenty yards of compost will be delivered to select locations in the parking lot — just bring your shovel and gloves. Bags will be provided by Boyer’s Coffee. Here’s the schedule: Tuesday, April 12 — Arvada (8031 Wadsworth Blvd.) and Parker (17031 Lincoln Ave.); Wednesday, April 13 — Denver (3100 S. Sheridan Blvd.) and Greenwood Village (4910 S. Yosemite St.); Thursday, April 14 — Highlands Ranch (9551 S. University Blvd.); and Saturday, April 16 — Glendale (4600 Leetsdale Dr.) and Highlands Ranch (4000 Red Cedar Dr.) There is no delivery time stated, but we’re assuming the compost will arrive in the early morning. The compost is available while supplies last. Happy gardening!
