Dairy Block – downtown Denver’s hottest new micro-district that celebrates the maker – is hosting a Final Friday Art Walk on Friday, July 31. The theme will be Street Art, celebrating everything from graffiti and mural artists to wheat paste, sticker art and multimedia Alley art. Curated by Denver’s IRL Arts, the Final Friday Art Walk will be held outside in the Dairy Block Alley from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event features live instrumental music, artist demonstrations, food and drink specials and more. Participating local artists include Alicia Cardenas, Sofia Ramirez, Derek Carpenter, Raoul Desoto, Amanda Wolf and others.
IRL will also be hosting a pop-up Art Gallery in the space off of the Dairy Block Alley highlighting works by the participating July artists. The gallery will be open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
If you plan to attend, please register here. Present your e-ticket at the check-in table in the Alley to receive a FREE $10 Milk Market Gift Card, while supplies last.
Dairy Block is home to more than 750 original art pieces created by emerging and established Colorado artists, including Andrew Ramiro Tirado, Mario Zoots, Molly Bounds and Diego Rodriguez-Warner.
Dairy Block continues to work with local artists to host an ongoing series of pop-up installations, including the TRUE WEST show by Michael Dowling and a Virtual Final Friday last month.
