Is there anyone who isn’t ready to say goodbye to 2021 and bring on the holidays? On Saturday, December 18, you can watch one of three high-in-the-sky fireworks shows in Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch and Parker. The 30-minute displays will both launch at 7 p.m. from locations at Rueter-Hess Reservoir, near Daniels Park (south of Rock Canyon H.S.), and near Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course. Launch sites were chosen for their wide visibility to area households.
The fireworks are being staged by Douglas County. They were designed, and locations determined, while working closely with local law enforcement and fire protection agencies.
There will be no organized gatherings or events, so please watch from your home or your vehicle.
