Recycle Old Electronics For Free in Douglas County

Do you have old electronics taking up space in your basement or garage? Douglas County is sponsoring a community recycling event (Monday to Friday and one Saturday) through December 30 this winter. You can recycle your items for FREE. These will be drive-through events. Staff will unload your items while you remain in your car. This is for DougCo residents ONLY.

Drop-Off Location: Techno Rescue, 3251 Lewiston Street, Suite 10 in Aurora. You check-in at the Front Office and state the drop-off is for the Douglas County event. Note: Proof of Residency will be required (photo ID and verification of address such as driver’s license or state ID).

Drop-Off Dates and Times:

Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Techno-Rescue is CLOSED December 24 & 25 and 31.

There is no limit on the number of household electronics, including computers and all types of televisions. No appliances — refrigerators, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, etc. — will be accepted.

Wire of any kind (copper, electrical, etc.)
