Big Belmar Bash

POSTED BY
Laura

All of Lakewood heads to Belmar to celebrate Independence Day (a day early) at the Big Belmar Bash on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. There’s fun for all ages. Bring your dancing shoes to enjoy the live bands. Little ones will be entertained with kids’ activities. Local vendors will showcase unique goods and a wide variety of food and drinks will satisfy any craving.

The stage on S. Teller St. at W. Alaska Dr. hosts live music. Wash Park Band will play from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The night’s highlight will be a spectacular drone light show, taking place at approximately 9:15 p.m., rain or shine. The show runs about 16 to 18 minutes!

Witness a fleet of 250 cutting-edge drones adorned with state-of-the-art LED lights and prepare to be amazed as they illuminate the night with a stunning array of colors and effects, providing an unforgettable experience for all.

Tip: Be in your viewing location by 9 p.m.

MIX 100 will be providing the soundtrack for the drone light show. The radio station will broadcast from the band stage on S. Teller St. and Alaska. Tune into Mix 100.3 FM on your radio or smartphone to listen LIVE to the soundtrack of the show anywhere you view the show.

Here’s a look at the 2025 Drone Show

The event will take place rain or shine. The drone light show may be canceled in the case of excessive winds or poor visibility.

The alternate date for the drone light show will be July 5 at approximately 9:15 p.m. There will be no event if the show is delayed until July 5, only a drone light show without music.

Here’s a Big Belmar Map for reference.

Good To Know

The show will be visible from a variety of parking lot locations around Belmar where the show can be seen (see map above).

Bring your own folding chairs to sit, enjoy the band and watch the drone light show.

Best for viewing the drone light show from your own lawn chairs will be along S. Teller St. and Belmar Square Park.

The drone light show can be viewed from your parked vehicle at the following lots:

  • Alameda Shops parking lot between S. Teller St. and S. Salisbury St., just south of W. Alameda Ave.
  • Hobby Lobby parking lot to the east off of S. Salisbury St., just south of W. Alameda Ave.

The show will be designed to face north and south of Belmar from the launch area, located in parking lots to the east and west of S. Teller St. and W. Virginia Ave. See parking lot locations & viewing lots around Belmar where the show can be seen (see map above).

All parking lots/garages in Belmar will be open to the public on a first come first serve basis, except for the Target parking garage (reserved for Target customers only) and the two parking lots at the end of S. Teller St. at W. Virginia Ave., which will be used exclusively for the drone light show set-up, flight, and landing.

Nearby parking for those with accessibility needs will be available in the 455 S. Saulsbury parking garage.
