After a two-year hiatus, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is bringing back National Flip Flop Day and celebrating the holiday with a FREE Sunrise Sunset Smoothie (12-oz.) for customers who wear flip flops on Friday, June 17 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Modifications, fresh add-ins and supplements cost extra. Limit one smoothie per customer.
This year, the cafe expects to give away more than 350,000 Sunrise Sunset Smoothies, made with strawberries, pineapple, mango and orange juice. The free Flip Flop Day smoothie is available in-cafe only at participating locations.
In addition to National Flip Flop Day, the smoothie chain will keep the summer celebration going on National Smoothie Day, Tuesday, June 21, when Tropic Rewards members can enjoy their favorite smoothie (24-oz.) for FREE with any food purchase. Limit one smoothie per member.
There are more than a dozen locations in Colorado — Arvada, Centennial, Colorado Springs, Denver, Ft. Collins, Greeley, Highlands Ranch, Lafayette, Pueblo, Thornton, Westminster and Wheat Ridge.
