Two upcoming events celebrate the vibrant Colfax community and the independent businesses that make it special. The fourth annual Independents Day weekend will kick off with the FREE Colfax Indie Bash on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bruz Off Fax, and feature local fare, live music, art and more.
Special perks for the first attendees including a complimentary beer or root beer from Bruz, free single scoop of ice cream from Savageau and a live taping of the podcast City Cast Denver at 6 p.m. RSVP required. Reserve your ticket here.
Independents Day, taking place Friday to Sunday, July 21 to July 23, will honor the local and independent businesses that contribute to the distinctiveness of Colfax.
With more than 30 participating businesses, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive deals and promotions simply by mentioning “Independents Day.”

In addition to the enticing promotions, the Colfax Ave BID has curated a series of captivating activities throughout the corridor. Attendees can delight in Drag Queen Storytime with Shirley Delta Blow at French for Sugar, purchase prints from Emily Burrowes at Doppio, attend a garden party at the newly renovated Flora House, and get a custom poem from Michael Prince at Bruz Off Fax, among other exciting experiences.
