Michael Butterman, the Boulder Philharmonic’s music director, and Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics scientist Dr. David Brain host ‘Reach for the Stars,’ a FREE family-friendly concert on Sunday, March 4 at 2 p.m. at Macky Auditorium on the CU Boulder campus. (Don ‘t you love that a space scientist is named Dr. Brain?) Following a space exploration theme, the program honors of NASA’s and the Boulder Phil’s 60th Anniversaries, explores concepts of history, courage, and innovation while featuring some of the most engaging orchestral music ever written.
