Today, July 25, is National Carousel Day, and the wonderful, whimsical Carousel of Happiness is throwing a party from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There’s face painting, a bubble station, games and a scavenger hunt at the Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center. Also, every rider gets a coupon for 50¢ off an ice cream cone, cup or shake at the neighboring Blue Owl Books and Ice Cream Parlour; one coupon per rider.
