Buy your Rocky Mountain Super Pass before April 5 for the most 2016-17 benefits for the lowest price. The cost now: adult (ages 18-69), $499; teen (ages 13-17), $409; child (ages 6-12), $299; child 5 and under, $30, and senior (ages 70+), $409. And whether or not you buy now or by June 1, get one FREE child’s pass per adult purchase (child’s age as of November 1). College and military passes also available and there’s an option to put $49 down now and pay the rest in the fall. And oh, what that will buy: unlimited access to Winter Park Resort, Copper Mountain and Eldora Mountain Resort. Restricted access to Steamboat (6 days), Crested Butte, 3 days and Alaska’s Alyeska Resort, also 3 days. And those with itchy travel feet can put some of those savings from the super-cheap season pass toward seven days at each of the following destinations across the Pacific: New Zealand’s Mt. Ruapehu and Cardrona Alpine Resort; and Japan’s Tomamu, Alts Bandai or Nekoma. Not household names perhaps, but worthwhile for adventurous skiers with time and travel bucks.
