Weeds, weeds, weeds! They have a way of growing everywhere. Fortunately, Boulder residents have an option of how to take care those annoying weeds and get rewarded for their work. Residents can trade-in their noxious weeds for native plants, as part of the city’s 5th annual Purge the Spurge event. Collect myrtle spurge in bags from your property and turn it in from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 6 at ReSource, 6400 Arapahoe Rd. In exchange, pick up FREE native plants grown without pesticides. Remember, it’s important to wear gloves, pants, long-sleeved shirts and eye protection, when removing the weeds. For more details on the program, click here.
