This deal is sold out. Okay, this is a bit pricier than our usual deals, but it certainly makes for a memorable present that doesn’t fit under the tree – the gift of flight. iFLY Denver is a wind tunnel where almost anyone can skydive without actually having to jump out of an airplane or use a parachute. First time flyers go through a training session before gearing up and taking flight. Experts use iFLY Denver to train and advance their skills. Regardless of the level, it’s a fun and exhilarating experience. Anyone age three to 103 can fly day or night in any kind of weather. A basic flight costs just $60 and includes training plus the equivalent of nearly three free falls. Now through December 31, you can buy one iFly Denver gift certificate and get one FREE. To take advantage of this BOGO deal, stop by iFly Denver, order online or call 303-768-9000. The indoor facility is open daily starting at 9 a.m. 9230 Park Meadows Dr. (south of Park Meadows Mall), Lone Tree.
Deal is sold out! Why doesn’t the ad say while supplies last or limited? I thought I had until December 31st to get my husband a super sweet Christmas gift. Oh well.
Hi Jessica,
We posted the deal based on a press release sent to us from a local PR person who represents iFly. This was not a paid advertisement. The information given to us said they would honor the deal through Christmas Eve. Then, this Monday morning (Dec. 14), I received another email from the PR person saying they had sold so many of the BOGOs that they decided to stop and would I delete or update the post.
Not to point fingers but it is iFly who is NOT honoring the deal and you should vent your frustration at them. Perhaps give them a call and tell them how disappointed you are as you saw the deal posted and would have taken advantage of it earlier had there been a shorter deadline or a note about limited quantity.
I really get ticked off at companies who dangle a deal and then change it up midway. iFly tells us that they will now do a buy one, get one at 50% off package, but it isn’t the same savings.
Please understand, that for the most part, Mile High on the Cheap doesn’t charge companies (even those who could afford it) to “pay” to have their deal posted, especially if we think it is a good deal and we have the space on our site. We are trying to get more businesses to realize that we ARE a business as well and they should run ads or sponsored posts that contain all the “fine print”.
I hope you do call iFly and tell them that backpedaling on a deal is not very customer service oriented.
Laura
