The Bemis Public Library and Littleton Museum are set to reopen on a limited schedule. The Library reopens on Tuesday, July 14; the museum on Wednesday, July 15. In keeping with the state’s direction for government facilities, visitors must wear a mask or face covering while visiting any city building including the library and museum. Pets (with the exception of trained service animals), food, or beverages are not permitted in the museum or library.
The library’s schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this initial stage, capacity will be limited to 60 people per hour. Patrons will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis; once the library’s capacity has been reached, a practice of one-out-one-in will be implemented.
Computer sessions will be limited to one hour per person, per day. Patrons are encouraged to limit their visit to 60 minutes or less. Curbside service will continue during the library’s hours of operations only; call 303-795-3961 to schedule an appointment.
The Littleton Museum schedule is Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this initial stage, capacity will be limited to 50 people per hour.
Visitors must make a reservation for a timed entry by calling 303-795-3950. An email confirmation will be sent which will contain the date and time of the reservation and information about the visit. Visitors are encouraged to limit their visit to 60 minutes.
