Bandshell Boogie – Dance The Night Away In Boulder

POSTED BY
Laura

Grab your dancing shoes…Boulder’s largest summer dance gatherings — Bandshell Boogie — cranks up the volume as it prepares to celebrate its third annual run. Bandshell Boogie turns three this year, and it will be back bigger than ever with seven consecutive Mondays, starting June 18, filled with music, fun and connection.

Bandshell Boogie is a FREE, community-wide outdoor dance series that is all about re-introducing the power of Freeform / Ecstatic Dance back into our fast-paced and increasingly technological modern lifestyles. It’s held at the Boulder Bandshell in Central Park. Here’s the 2018 DJ lineup:

June 18: Mr. Gettdowne — Invoke The Boogie

June 25: DJ Simona — Space Jam

July 2: Musa Starseed — Hip Hop, Funk & Soul

July 9: Treaphort — Rainforest Rapture

July 16: Buddha Bomb — Primal Rapture

July 23: DJ Wild Zen — World Rhythms & Soul Beats

July 30: DJ De Vine — Future Temple Dub

The family-friendly dance nights are FREE, and whether you stay for 20 minutes, or for the until the end, you will enjoy an evening dancing, meeting up with friends or simply sitting back and relaxing under the Boulder sky.

7 p.m. — Warm-up Music

7:30 p.m. — Opening Circle

7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. — Freeform Dance

9 p.m. — Closing Circle

A FREE guided warm-up session for beginners or anyone wanting to get loose before the dance is held from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
