Live music returns to the metro area. The Arapahoe Philharmonic Brass Quintet will perform three outdoor “Brass in the Park(ing Lot)” concerts in church parking lots. The quintet will perform a 50-minute program including a selection of traditional Americana (Amazing Grace, Down by the Riverside), light classical (Sonata from Die Bänkelsängerlieder), and jazzy favorites (West End Blues, When the Saints Go Marching In).
These will be “drive up” concerts requiring attendees to remain in their vehicles, shutting off the engine off and rolling down the windows to listen to the performance. Parking will be on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited. The churches will not be open to the public.
