Loveland Ski Area, which is operating through Sunday, May 8, is extending the season for season pass holders from other resorts. For the remainder of the season, it is offering discount lift tickets to anyone who presents a 2015-16 season pass from any other mountain. At this point, Loveland is reporting a mid-mountain snow depth of 82 inches and 100% of its expert terrain, 92% of its intermediate terrain and 81% of its beginner terrain open — that is 87 out of 92 tails, served by seven out of 10 lifts. It means that Loveland Valley is closed, but Loveland Basin is still going strong.
