Through May 10, The Fort Restaurant is serving a three-course dinner special for $35, including a Colorado beer or wine. The meal starts with a dinner salad and fresh baked breads. The entrée is a 5-oz. aged Buffalo Sirloin Steak topped with mushrooms and a port reduction sauce, accompanied by Fort red potatoes, caramelized onions & Anasazi beans, fresh vegetables and a complimentary glass of CK Mondavi wine or beer or non-alcoholic beverage, coffee or tea. For dessert, guests indulge in a Caramel Nut Brownie served with ice cream. The Fort is a special place, and the $35 total compares favorably to regular prices, with many entrées alone costing $40 or more. Reservations are strongly suggested. 19192 Highway 8, Morrison, 303-697-4771.
