This anniversary celebration is going to be a “hot ticket.” If your family is looking for fun this weekend, stop by the Denver Firefighters Museum (1326 Tremont Pl.) on Saturday, May 21 to celebrate the Denver Fire Department’s 150th anniversary. (Did you know they’ve been putting out fires since 1866?) The museum will offer FREE admission from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Of course, they will be serving birthday cake. Plus, kids are sure to love the afternoon because of all the fire trucks on display and family-friendly activities, including bucket rides in a 100-foot tower truck.
