Love Qdoba Mexican Eats? Well, you’re lucky you live in the Mile High City. The Mexican fast-casual restaurant is offering Denver a tasty deal. Through Monday, March 27, they’re offering a buy-one-get-one FREE entrée (of equal or lesser value.) The offer is available via this coupon on Twitter. No need to print — just show it on your smartphone. The fine print states that the discount is only valid at “participating Denver restaurants only.” As a result, I’m unsure, if the coupon will be accepted at locations outside of Denver. As always, call ahead or ask before ordering, to avoid an awkward moment at the register. (I’m constantly asking to speak with a manager all over town. I just hate being stuck with a higher-than-expected tab, so I always, always, always clarify first.)
It’s back, but for a limited time! If you’re running errands in the afternoon and the kids are hungry, stop by Wendy’s for its latest promo. Every day, after 4 p.m., kids meals are just $1.99 each (reg. up to $3.69.) Choose from a Kids’ Cheeseburger, 4-Piece Chicken Nuggets or Grilled Chicken Go Wrap. Then, pick a side: fries or apple slices. Finally, kids can top off their meal with milk, bottled water, a Jr. Frosty or soft drink.
With so many choices, even picky eaters can find something they’ll enjoy. Or, better yet, parents can make healthier selections. The offer is available at participating locations, so check first before ordering. For other kids dining deals check our Kids Eat Free page.
If you’re “in the market” for a little mealtime savings, check out this deal from Boston Market. The fast-casual restaurant is offering a printable coupon good for a FREE Individual Meal with the purchase of one (of equal or greater value) and a drink. Choose from BBQ ribs, rotisserie chicken, turkey breast or meatloaf with two regular sides and cornbread. (I like Boston Market, but it’s a little on the expensive side in my book. Truth be told, I only dine there with a coupon or special offer.) One coupon per customer, per visit. Plus, the coupon cannot be combined with any other special or reduced-price offer. The coupon expires Sunday, March 26.
McDonald’s is offering a deal perfect for Easter baskets or just as a treat for the kids in your life. For $1, get a Spring Treat Pack with 12 coupons good for about $9 worth of FREE food. The pack contains 3 coupons for each of the following: bag of apple slices, small apple juice or milk jug, hamburger and small vanilla cone. The coupon book is available for sale at participating locations, while supplies last. However, the coupons can be redeemed at any participating location in the U.S. The coupons can only be redeemed by customers 12 years and younger through August 31. Frugal parents might pick up a book or two just to keep on hand for quick snacks for the little ones — especially because they’re valid through the summer months.
Dining at Sonic Drive-In is like travelling back in time, with its ordering bays and servers on skates. (I can never figure out how those kids deliver food on skates. If it were me, there would be lots of lost orders and big messes!) Even though the prices aren’t from the 50s, you can still find significant savings at the fast-food chain. I have a location just down the street from my home, so I consider myself an expert on its deals and promos. Here are 6 great deals you can always find at Sonic Drive-In:
Is there a better deal than FREE? Well, if you’re a member of Papa John’s Papa Rewards, you can get just that — a FREE large pizza with up to three toppings. (If you’re not a member, you can join here. It’s quick, easy and FREE.) Here’s how it works: To qualify, through Tuesday, April 4, place an order of $15 or more (excluding tax, tip and delivery fees) online and enter promo code SWISH. Twenty-five bonus points will be deposited in your account the day after your qualifying order. Then, redeem the 25 bonus points for a FREE large pizza with up to 3 toppings — no later than Sunday, April 16. (Note: Once your points have been deposited, enter promo code 25PAPA online and order your complimentary large pizza.)
For many, Subway is the perfect stop for a quick, “cheap” and healthier lunch option — even more so with its latest daily special. For $6, get a Footlong “Sub of the Day.” Here’s the weekly line-up: Sunday – Meatball Marinara; Monday – Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki; Tuesday – Oven-Roasted Chicken; Wednesday – Turkey Breast; Thursday – Italian BMT; Friday – Tuna; and Saturday – Black Forest Ham. There is an additional charge for extras, including double meat. The deal is for a limited time at participating locations. (If you’re not quite as hungry for a Footlong, many locations continue to offer the same daily promo for a 6-inch at $3.50.)
For those who enjoy lunch with a sweet treat, Dairy Queen continues its popular lunchtime meal deal. The DQ $5 Buck Lunch is now available all day at participating locations. Get two crispy chicken wraps, three chicken strips or cheeseburger, as well as fries, a beverage and small sundae, for just $5. For just a buck more, upgrade the small sundae to a small Blizzard.
SONIC Drive-In is “shaking” things up again with its very popular late-night offer. The burger chain’s daily half-price Happy Hour on drinks and slushes from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. does not include shakes. However, if you’re willing to wait a few hours, enjoy an even sweeter treat and still save a few bucks. For a limited time, after 8 p.m., all shakes and ice cream slushes are 50% off. (The promo typically ends in late August.) Choose from 24 sweet, delicious flavors, in total. Each shake is topped with whipped cream and a cherry, of course. This fishy deal is an easy catch for Arby’s customers. Known for its roast beef sandwiches, Arby’s has dived into new territory (for a limited time) with its Crispy Fish Sandwich. The sandwich is wild-caught Alaskan Pollock crispy-fried to a golden-brown, topped with tartar sauce and shredded lettuce. For just $5, get two fish sandwiches at participating locations.
Craving Taco Bell and a great deal? For a limited time, the fast-food Mexican restaurant is serving its Cravings Deal for just $5. The meal deal includes Cheesy Gordita Crunch ($2.99), Beef Burrito Supreme ($3.19), Crunchy Taco ($1.29), Nachos* ($1) and medium drink ($1.79) at participating locations. With the regular price being just more than $10, collectively, it’s definitely a frugal fiesta for any hungry bargain hunter. It’s so much food, you could split it with a friend or save one (or two) of the items for later. (*It’s not a full serving of nachos with all the toppings — just chips & cheese.)
They have the meats…and savings! Arby’s is offering a deal on some its most popular menu items. For a limited time, get a Beef ‘n Cheddar Classic sandwich, Classic Roast Beef sandwich, Crispy Fish sandwich or Loaded Curly Fries for 2 for $5 at participating locations. Get two of the same or mix & match. The savings are in the bag, given some of the sandwiches are around $4 alone. (You must buy two items, to get the discounted price.) If you’re dining alone, save the second sandwich for dinner or lunch the next day. (Although, the second sandwich could also be a midnight snack, right?) A quick spin in the microwave and it’s just as tasty.
Hamburger Stand has a hot deal for those who love their food spicy. For a limited time, every Sunday and Monday, the fast-food joint is serving up its Chili Lovers’ Deal for just $4.99 at participating locations. The meal combo includes a chili cheese dog, chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. (With all that heat, you’d think the deal would include a beverage. Unfortunately, it does not.) A beverage will cost you extra. It’s enough food that you might share it with a friend — one gets the dog, the other gets the burger and you can share the fries! There are 6 locations in Colorado — Aurora, Denver, Englewood, Lakewood, Thornton and Westminster.

I’m always “in the market” for saving a few bucks, when dining out. (Actually, I never dine out without a coupon or promo. With so many offers out there, there’s no reason to ever pay full price.) Through March 26, Boston Market is offering a 2 for $20 Meal Deal. The delicious offer includes two Individual Meals, two drinks and two desserts for only $20. Each Individual Meal comes with a main course option, including rotisserie chicken, turkey or meatloaf, two classic sides and a freshly baked piece of cornbread. (If you’re dining alone, they’re also offering a 1 for $10 Meal Deal — an Individual Meal, drink and dessert for $10.) For locations, click here.
