Love Qdoba Mexican Eats? Well, you’re lucky you live in the Mile High City. The Mexican fast-casual restaurant is offering Denver a tasty deal. Through Monday, March 27, they’re offering a buy-one-get-one FREE entrée (of equal or lesser value.) The offer is available via this coupon on Twitter. No need to print — just show it on your smartphone. The fine print states that the discount is only valid at “participating Denver restaurants only.” As a result, I’m unsure, if the coupon will be accepted at locations outside of Denver. As always, call ahead or ask before ordering, to avoid an awkward moment at the register. (I’m constantly asking to speak with a manager all over town. I just hate being stuck with a higher-than-expected tab, so I always, always, always clarify first.)
Food & Drink
It’s back, but for a limited time! If you’re running errands in the afternoon and the kids are hungry, stop by Wendy’s for its latest promo. Every day, after 4 p.m., kids meals are just $1.99 each (reg. up to $3.69.) Choose from a Kids’ Cheeseburger, 4-Piece Chicken Nuggets or Grilled Chicken Go Wrap. Then, pick a side: fries or apple slices. Finally, kids can top off their meal with milk, bottled water, a Jr. Frosty or soft drink.
With so many choices, even picky eaters can find something they’ll enjoy. Or, better yet, parents can make healthier selections. The offer is available at participating locations, so check first before ordering. For other kids dining deals check our Kids Eat Free page.
If you’re “in the market” for a little mealtime savings, check out this deal from Boston Market. The fast-casual restaurant is offering a printable coupon good for a FREE Individual Meal with the purchase of one (of equal or greater value) and a drink. Choose from BBQ ribs, rotisserie chicken, turkey breast or meatloaf with two regular sides and cornbread. (I like Boston Market, but it’s a little on the expensive side in my book. Truth be told, I only dine there with a coupon or special offer.) One coupon per customer, per visit. Plus, the coupon cannot be combined with any other special or reduced-price offer. The coupon expires Sunday, March 26.
Groupon always saves you money, usually at least half off, which makes any offer, service or product you get from them offers much more affordable. Now, for two days day only, Saturday & Sunday, March 25 & 26 get an extra 25% to 33% off any Groupon Local Deals. Here’s how it works: Get $5 off a minimum $20 purchase, $10 off $40, $15 off $60 and $30 off $100. You need to use the promo code OFF at checkout. You can use the code a maximum of three times. Use it on show tickets, concerts, dining out, spa treatments, things to do and more. The more you spend, the deeper the discount. The only exclusions are a handful of local deals and consumer electronics. To get the deal, use this link to take you to all the Groupons in the Denver-Boulder area.
Through Sunday, April 2, Starbucks is offering a combo deal to get your day started. For $5, get a Grande hot brewed coffee and a Bacon Gouda or Sausage, Cheddar & Egg breakfast sandwich at participating locations. (There are no substitutions and Clover-brewed coffees are excluded.) You must purchase both items in a single transaction to get the savings. Even better, the breakfast sandwiches are available all day, so you can take advantage of the offer morning, noon or night — while supplies last. For reference, each sandwich is regularly about $4. (I always like to know regular prices, so I can determine whether or not I’m really getting a deal. I hope you do, too.)
It’s not often P.F. Chang’s China Bistro offers a big discount or coupon, so that makes this deal even tastier. The Asian restaurant just introduced three new Entrée Salads to its menu — Mandarin Crunch, Asian Caesar and Vietnamese Noodle. From Monday, March 27 to Wednesday, March 29, get a FREE salad with any entrée purchase. The offer requires this coupon, which you can print or show on your phone. (There is an additional charge for protein.) Dine-in only and limit one coupon per check. There are 7 locations in Colorado — Aurora, Broomfield, Colorado Springs, Denver, Lakewood, Lone Tree and Loveland.

McDonald’s is offering a deal perfect for Easter baskets or just as a treat for the kids in your life. For $1, get a Spring Treat Pack with 12 coupons good for about $9 worth of FREE food. The pack contains 3 coupons for each of the following: bag of apple slices, small apple juice or milk jug, hamburger and small vanilla cone. The coupon book is available for sale at participating locations, while supplies last. However, the coupons can be redeemed at any participating location in the U.S. The coupons can only be redeemed by customers 12 years and younger through August 31. Frugal parents might pick up a book or two just to keep on hand for quick snacks for the little ones — especially because they’re valid through the summer months.
There’s a new Entertainment Book sale. The 2017 Entertainment Book is full of coupons for local shopping, restaurants, attractions, entertainment, services, and more. Books are published every year and the coupons are good until December 2017. Many times, especially with coupons for local attractions, you’ll see 2-for-1 offers, so you’re saving up to 50% off. And remember that you can use these books during travel, so if your sweetie is planning a getaway to Hawaii or Florida or wherever, consider buying a book for the intended destination. The regular price for an Entertainment coupon book is $35 plus shipping, and several times a year the books are offered at a reduced price. Through Tuesday, March 28, you can get 50% off any 2017 Entertainment Book (plus FREE shipping) or Digital Membership. You must use the code SPRING50 at checkout to get the discount.
Papa John’s is slicing pizza prices in half. Through Sunday, March 26, get any pizza for 50% off with promo code PAPA. The discount only applies to regular menu prices and orders placed online. (However, choose carry-out to save on the delivery fees and just go pick it up.) It’s the perfect excuse for an easy family meal everyone will enjoy…or an impromptu office party!
Dining at Sonic Drive-In is like travelling back in time, with its ordering bays and servers on skates. (I can never figure out how those kids deliver food on skates. If it were me, there would be lots of lost orders and big messes!) Even though the prices aren’t from the 50s, you can still find significant savings at the fast-food chain. I have a location just down the street from my home, so I consider myself an expert on its deals and promos. Here are 6 great deals you can always find at Sonic Drive-In:
