Safeway Closing at Leetsdale & Quebec — 75% Off

Safeway-logoThere’s not much on the shelves, as the new savings increase started yesterday. As a result, we don’t recommend making a special trip. However, if you’re in the area, it might be worth a quick stop. You just mind find a few great bargains. The Safeway at 7150 Leetsdale Dr. in Denver is closing. Currently, everything is now 75% off its regular price. The new store hours are 8 a.m. to 7:40 p.m. The shelves are starting to empty, with fresh items, produce, bread and meat now gone. You can find processed, canned and boxed items, plus a few toiletries. (FYI – Since the store is closing, they no longer honor the weekly ad prices.) We’ve been informed the store will shutter on Saturday, September 7, unless they sell out before that date. As with all going-out-of-business sales, the prices are expected to drop as the closing date approaches. (We’ll do our best to update this post accordingly.) We know many cheapskates, like us, are wondering, “Can I still use manufacturer’s coupons?” So, of course, we asked. Drum roll, please…yes, you can still use manufacturer’s coupons! (Note: Store coupons are excluded.) However, coupons are not doubled.
