The Jefferson County Triad (a fancy name for criminal justice representatives, senior service providers and volunteer senior citizens) is offering FREE 911 cell phones to seniors to use in case of emergency. The phones, collected by schools and Triad participants, are given to the JeffCo District Attorney’s Office who has them deprogrammed and set to only make 911 calls in case of an emergency.
