Hard to believe, but Mile High On the Cheap is now a robust one-year-old with our sights set on becoming a terrific two. Anniversary celebrants usually receive the gifts, but thanks to the generous support of our friends in the retail, restaurant and hospitality realm, we are holding an anniversary giveaway where you get the goodies. To enter, simply leave a comment expressing your anniversary wishes or telling us how MHOTC has helped you thrive during the recession. Deadline was 11:59 p.m. MST Feb. 19, so the entries are now closed. Only one entry per email address. Winners will be contacted via e-mail for a mailing address — so check your spam filters. If we can’t contact you the item goes to someone else.
- Two-night stay in a three-bedroom cabin at Snow Mountain Ranch just outside of Granby ($500 value). Spread over 5,000 acres, the complex features comfortable, fully-furnishing cabins with kitchens and fireplaces. - Fox Restaurant Concepts Gift Card ($100 value). Good for dining at Bloom, NoRTH or Sauce. Bloom is a boutique-style eatery serving a seasonally changing menu of American favorites. NoRTH takes its cues from an Italian-style trattoria. Sauce pizza and wine redefines the idea of “fast casual” with a variety of pizzas, salads, pastas and paninis.

Thank you for sending the grandkids and I on many free adventures I would never have known about nor afforded-we biked downtown for firefighters Museum day, free visits to museums via Jeffco library. I visit MHOTC religiously -I am self supporting and it has helped me entertain the grandkids through a period where I had been laid off.
Wow! My oldest daughter just gave me Woman’s Day mag. After reading about how to “live well on less”..I knew your website was just for me. I’ve raised 7 kids and now I have 20 grandchildren! I need all the help I can get to try and enjoy time with them. I’m on a budget so I’m sure hoping ( and I’m sure I will), that I find some very nice unforgetable places to go and see with a few of them!
